Job description

As a leading US manufacturer of industrial-grade products, United Abrasives, Inc. is seeking a driven, growth-focused sales representative to join our team. The individual will manage all sales and business development activities within the region (Kentucky, Cincinnati, OH, and Evansville, IN ) while being given the tools and comprehensive training at our facility to become a successful team member and specialist in our industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive end-user sales through multiple distribution channels.
  • Uncover new sales opportunities and convert them into customers.
  • Demonstrate products to end users emphasizing the financial impact of improved performance, safety, and quality.
  • Manage and consistently update sales leads to track progress.
  • Effective management of end-users and distributors with high quality follow through ensuring territory growth objectives are achieved.
  • Overnight travel required (access to transportation and a valid driver’s license required).

Education and Experience :

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience in an industrial setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industrial distribution practices and trends.
  • Knowledge of welding, metal fabricating, woodworking, and power tools is helpful.
  • Military background is a plus.
