Job Description

Associate Director of Creative Design at Eccalon LLC , located in Hanover, MD , United States. This role targets candidates with a Bachelor Degree and is within the Graphic Design field.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management :

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of UI / UX designers, Communications specialists, and Graphics designers.
  • Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and ensure the team\'s professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.

UI / UX Design :

  • Oversee the design and optimization of user interfaces to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our digital products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to align design with business goals and technical constraints.

    • Communications Strategy :

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across various channels.
  • Manage the creation of marketing collateral, press releases, and other materials to support our brand and business objectives.

    • Graphic Design :

  • Drive the creation of visually stunning graphics, branding materials, and promotional assets.
  • Maintain a cohesive visual identity for our brand across all touchpoints.

    • Project Management :

  • Establish project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all design projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to meet project goals and objectives.

    • Design Standards and Quality Assurance :

  • Set and uphold design standards, ensuring the highest quality and consistency across all creative work.
  • Perform regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

    • Market Research and Trend Analysis :

  • Stay informed about design and industry trends, keeping the team up-to-date with the latest advancements in design and user experience.
  • Integrate best practices and innovative techniques into the creative process.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in leading creative teams and managing cross-functional design projects.
  • Proficiency in UI / UX design principles and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack).
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, while also executing on a tactical level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
