Neurotology Opportunity- South Sacramento, CA

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a board-certified / board eligible fellowship trained Neurotologist to take over an established Neurotology practice within a comprehensive Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department in Sacramento, California. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a busy regional referral-based practice in Neurotology within in an integrated health-care system. Our Neurotologist collaborates closely with our Neurosurgery team in performing skull base surgery and has the support of a Neurosurgical ICU with Neurointensivists. In addition, our Neurotologist enjoys the support of a Physician Assistant and Physical Therapists well-trained in vestibular disorders and support for otologic procedures and neurotology, as well as Behavioral Medicine. There is full Audiology support within the department, including full vestibular and advanced audiologic testing. We are one of the top five busiest cochlear implant centers in the state with two experienced full time implant audiologists.

The nine OHNS physicians currently in the department provide a full range of services including general otolaryngology, laryngology / voice, otology / neurotology, endocrine surgery, sleep surgery, rhinology, and head and neck oncologic surgery. We work closely with our colleagues in maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic and vascular surgery, plastic surgery, endocrine, and sleep medicine. Our medical center enjoys a strong affiliation with the University of California at Davis, serving as a teaching hospital for residents in many specialties, including HNS. We are also affiliated with several other residency training programs in HNS, MFS, and Emergency Medicine and are involved with medical student teaching through California Northstate University.
