Estimator (Long Beach)

Job Title : Estimator Heavy Concrete Construction (Federal a Plus)

Location : Long Beach, CA

Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Estimator with strong expertise in heavy concrete and structural construction . While federal project experience is a plus, candidates from concrete subcontractors with large-scale estimating experience are strongly encouraged to apply. This role will focus on preparing accurate cost estimates for federal, institutional, and large commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope of work
• Perform detailed takeoffs and pricing for formwork, rebar, concrete, and structural systems
• Develop cost estimates including labor, equipment, and materials
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
• Provide value engineering options to support project competitiveness
• Maintain estimating databases and track historical cost information
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure constructability and accuracy
