Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, programming, inspection, testing, and servicing of fire alarm, access control, security, BDA, and gate systems.
• Program and configure systems including Mircom, Silent Knight, Potter, FireLite, and Napco.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• Oversee and mentor junior technicians on proper installation methods and safety protocols.
• Interpret blueprints and technical documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with NFPA 72, local codes, and project specifications.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) to meet inspection and project deadlines.
• Complete programming records, inspection reports, and service documentation thoroughly and on time.
• Maintain company-assigned vehicle, tools, and safety equipment.
• Assist project managers with system design and field implementation.
