Job Location : San Leandro, CA (This position is 100% onsite)

Business Unit : Randtron

Schedule : 9 / 80 : Employees work 9 out of every14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off.

Position Summary :

Responsible for managing sub-assembly test, final test and Repair / Rework for Small Antenna. Ensures products meet test specifications and that testing and procedures are followed. Also ensures Production and Engineering schedules are maintained.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepares work schedules and ensures that priorities are met.
  • Performs the personnel tasks of hiring, training, and reviewing employee performance and oversees such activities performed by subordinate supervisors.
  • Writes and implements test procedures.
  • Makes budgetary recommendations and monitors budgets for capital expenditures and manpower for production test areas.
  • Researches and recommends new test equipment.
  • Interfaces with various company departments to resolve assembly and test problems.
  • Ensures training of subordinate employees in the area of environmental health and safety (EH&S) matters where appropriate.

Qualifications :

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and / or a minimum of 2-4 years of technical experience. Requires experience testing and troubleshooting microwave products and theoretical knowledge of microwave electronics. Supervisory experience and current Security Clearance given favorable consideration.
  • This role requires the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanc
  • Additional Requirements :

    Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel on occasion.

    Ability to type for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • May be exposed to some or all of the following : fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds close to the body repetitively. (Employees need to ask for assistance and use material handling tools for lesser weight in awkward location and / or body positions and for any items over 50 pounds).
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

  • In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role $100,00 - $185,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
