Produce a team‑focused environment that values safety and wellbeing.Conduct safety assessments and investigate incidents.Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage team members.Maintain personnel records via HRIS and training records via LMS.Manage timecards, time‑off requests, scheduling and staffing.Guest Service and Hospitality
Ensure positive guest service, addressing complaints and turning dissatisfied guests into raving fans.Food Safety and Planning
Enforce sanitary practices and maintain cleanliness.Maintain compliance with laws, policies and procedures.Ensure high quality food preparation and service.Supervise portion control and minimize waste.Coordinate ordering and deliveries with vendors.Financial
Control costs and drive sales, including food, beverage and labor costs.Ensure accurate administrative duties : invoices, budgets, reports.Work with Area Director to meet / exceed financial goals.Qualifications
High School Diploma required.Must be 21 years of age or older.3+ years GM experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume quick‑service restaurant.California Food Safety Manager Certified.Fluent English (read, write, speak).Proficiency in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, and restaurant safety.Basic math skills and POS system operation.Experience using standard office software and email.Leadership skills : giving and receiving effective feedback.Humility, empathy, organization, adaptability.Passion for food and hospitality.Must enjoy a fast‑paced environment and be authorized to work in the U.S.Must be able to transfer within a 50‑mile radius of California Chicken Cafe locations.Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, wipe, twist, climb, lift / carry up to 25 lb; continuous tasks for 8‑10 h per shift up to 6 shifts per week.Work Conditions / Hours
47.5 h / week with meal breaks.Opening shifts : 7 : 00 am (two per week).Mid shifts : 8 : 00 pm (two per week).Closing shift : 10 : 30 pm (one per week).Alternate Saturdays / Sundays 11 : 30 am–8 : 00 pm.Hours may vary with business necessity; includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, steam and smoke; working with hot, cold and hazardous equipment.No off‑clock work, though occasional off‑schedule call / text / email may be required; must report to HR.Benefits
