The Opportunity

This person will be the sole owner of all financial operations . This is a critical, high-visibility role where your expertise will directly contribute to business decisions and investor confidence. The employer is looking for a proactive professional to establish and manage its entire financial infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting : Prepare and present quarterly financial reports for investors, providing clear, accurate, and insightful analysis of company performance.

Tax Compliance : Manage all aspects of tax-related matters , ensuring strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Bookkeeping & General Ledger : Oversee all general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and P&L reports.

System Setup : Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial accounting systems tailored to a high-growth technology company.

Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Audit Preparation : Coordinate and prepare all necessary documentation for potential audits.

What You'll Bring

Proficiency in all core accounting functions, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Proven experience preparing comprehensive reports for external stakeholders (investors, board members).

Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

The initiative and autonomy to lead an accounting function independently in a startup environment.

Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data clearly to non-financial team members and investors.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or relevant certification is a plus).
