Job descriptionProvide general orthopedic surgery care, including clinic consultations, surgeries, and follow-ups Collaborate with 2 orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary care team Participate in rotating weekend and flexible on-call schedule Use Epic EMR for documentation Provide inpatient care directly or with hospitalist team Engage in teaching and mentorship with APPs and clinical staff Maintain compliance with hospital bylaws, safety standards, and professional guidelines Shift Type : Days (exact hours TBD) Schedule : Monday–Friday, with rotating weekend call On-Call : Flexible rotation Clinical expertise in orthopedic surgery Collaborative team player with excellent communication EMR proficiency (Epic preferred) Strong judgment and decision-making Ability to lead and educate APPs and support staff Professionalism and focus on patient-centered care Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery – Required Missouri medical license (or willingness to obtain) – Required 2+ years of experience in orthopedic surgery – Required (2–5 years highly preferred) DEA and CSR / CDS – Required before start Clean malpractice and license history – Preferred Benefit from steady income streams and potentially higher rates, mitigating financial uncertainties and instability.
