The Woodside Louisiana LNG Project is a liquefied natural gas export facility located in Sulphur, LA, with a planned capacity of 27.6 million tons per annum. Construction on the first phase is set to begin soon, with initial production targeted for 2026.

The operator receives oral or written instructions from supervisors regarding materials to move or excavate and is responsible for safely operating all assigned equipment while demonstrating proper handling at all times. They must read and interpret equipment gauges to ensure safe and effective operation, perform or coordinate daily equipment maintenance, and follow ground markings and hand signals when placing or removing material. The role includes conducting minor cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment, understanding the equipment owner’s manual, and accurately completing machine inspections. Operators are expected to maintain punctual, dependable attendance in accordance with project work rules and have prior experience driving concrete, sheet, and / or pipe piles. They manipulate crane controls to regulate speed and direction based on verbal, written, or hand-signal instructions and conduct daily inspections of cranes and piling equipment to identify defects or malfunctions. Additional duties include cleaning, maintaining, and lubricating equipment; lifting and placing machinery, equipment, and materials; and working within established accuracy standards. Operators must take actions to avoid hazards, obstructions, personnel, utilities, and other equipment, and operate cranes using signals from a qualified signal person. They are required to maintain all current certifications, understand how to control pile-hoisting speeds during hammer operation, and safely operate cranes during the assembly of crane and piling equipment.

Applicants may be required to prepare and construct reinforcing bar forms, understand blueprints, elevations, bundle tags, bar weights, and diameters, and assist with rigging operations, including making proper equipment connections and disconnections.
