Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipe Welders for a project located in and around Freeland, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $36 / hour based on experience plus $164 / Per Diem to travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a TIG welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope : Preparation and layoutRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, drawings and piping schematicsPrepare and align pipe joints for welding, beveling, cleaning, fitting and tack weldingSelect correct filler metals, consumables and welding processesWelding fabricationPerform welding on a variety of piping systems, fuel, lube oil, hydraulics, fire main, potable water and steamSMAW, stick, GTAW, TIG, GMAW, MIG and FCAW FluxcoreInstallation, repair and weld pipe spools, flanges, brackets and support for shipboard systemsRepair cracked, damaged or corroded piping and fittingsPerform hot-workaboard vesselsInspection, testing and conduct visual inspections of welds for defectsPrepare welds for non-destructive testing such as xray, dye penetrant, ultrasonic or magnetic particle inspectionRepair and / or re-weld as necessaryMinimum of 3+ years of Marine Welder experienceTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
