Role Overview

As the Lead Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting daily operational functions— you will not be a location manager. Instead, you will work closely with operations leadership to streamline processes, manage inventory, dispatch resources, and support logistical planning. You’ll help ensure timely movement of equipment and materials, improve workflows, and contribute to a strong operational backbone for the cooperative.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatching service crews and sprayers : scheduling, routing and coordinating equipment and personnel to support agronomy operations.
• Manage inventory of supplies, materials, chemicals and parts—track usage, ordering, stock levels, and ensure accuracy of records.
• Support coordination between departments (agribusiness, agronomy, grain, feed) to keep operations aligned and efficient.
• Monitor and report on operational metrics, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in implementing standard operating procedures and safety processes for operations team.
• Provide support in busy seasons (e.g., planting, spraying, harvest) to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to maintain high service levels.
