Job description

Overview

SurePayroll (Paychex) is seeking a Senior Manager – Salesforce Software Engineering to lead a talented team of developers and engineers in building scalable, reliable Salesforce solutions that support our payroll products and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Salesforce engineering team
  • Architect and implement solutions using Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning Components
  • Align Salesforce development with business strategies across sales, service, and marketing
  • Manage projects in agile environments, ensuring timely delivery and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Oversee integrations with third-party platforms like Zuora

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management
  • Salesforce certifications highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
