Job descriptionA valid and unrestricted California medical license Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA) Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program 2 years inpatient hospitalist experience strongly preferred Provide high-quality, patient-centered care during day and overnight shifts. Be part of a collegial and supportive group of hospitalists, working together to provide excellent care. Work at a single hospital location, Northridge Hospital Medical Center, a well-regarded 424-bed acute care facility. Benefit from a closed ICU, ensuring a focused and manageable scope of practice. Have access to ongoing professional development within an established and respected multispecialty group. Compensation range : $1690.00 to $1890.00 per 12 hour shift. Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Procedures : Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
- Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
- Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
