Job description2-4 years of drafting, review and negotiation of procurement contracts Strong experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, both domestic and international Action and results oriented, sense of urgency, flexible, hardworking, team player who thrives in a fast-paced business with frequent and rapid priority changes Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to remain poised in all situations JD and Bar Licensure in at least one state is required.
Role Summary :
A Large corporation is seeking a junior level attorney with at least two-four years’ experience for a long-term temporary assignment supporting the drafting, review and negotiation of procurement contracts. Experience with government acquisition and construction services contracting is a plus. Knowledge of information technology related services (e.g., SaaS, cloud) and experience contracting for them is also strongly desired.
Responsibilities & Duties :
- Serve as a legal point of contact to support review and approval of prospective subcontractor objections to terms - review purchase agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other corporate contracts
- Support negotiations with prospective subcontractors
- Conduct research and draft white papers in areas of federal contracting, general contracts law, and other corporate legal issues - researches, processes, and analyzes data and may develop recommendations
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed
