Job description

Role Summary :

A Large corporation is seeking a junior level attorney with at least two-four years’ experience for a long-term temporary assignment supporting the drafting, review and negotiation of procurement contracts. Experience with government acquisition and construction services contracting is a plus. Knowledge of information technology related services (e.g., SaaS, cloud) and experience contracting for them is also strongly desired.

Responsibilities & Duties :

  • Serve as a legal point of contact to support review and approval of prospective subcontractor objections to terms - review purchase agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other corporate contracts
  • Support negotiations with prospective subcontractors
  • Conduct research and draft white papers in areas of federal contracting, general contracts law, and other corporate legal issues - researches, processes, and analyzes data and may develop recommendations
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed

Required Skills / Abilities

  • 2-4 years of drafting, review and negotiation of procurement contracts
  • Strong experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, both domestic and international
  • Action and results oriented, sense of urgency, flexible, hardworking, team player who thrives in a fast-paced business with frequent and rapid priority changes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to remain poised in all situations
  • Education & Experience :

  • JD and Bar Licensure in at least one state is required.
