Role Summary :
A Large corporation is seeking a junior level attorney with at least two-four years’ experience for a long-term temporary assignment supporting the drafting, review and negotiation of procurement contracts. Experience with government acquisition and construction services contracting is a plus. Knowledge of information technology related services (e.g., SaaS, cloud) and experience contracting for them is also strongly desired.
Responsibilities & Duties :
- Serve as a legal point of contact to support review and approval of prospective subcontractor objections to terms - review purchase agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other corporate contracts
- Support negotiations with prospective subcontractors
- Conduct research and draft white papers in areas of federal contracting, general contracts law, and other corporate legal issues - researches, processes, and analyzes data and may develop recommendations
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed
