As our Chief Operating Officer, you will be the architect of operational excellence by translating strategy into scalable, sustainable execution across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and fulfillment. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll partner closely with the executive team to shape the systems, culture, and capabilities that fuel our growth and impact.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a multi-year operations strategy aligned with Briotech’s growth and mission, leveraging scale and capabilities to define and deliver goals around customer service, resiliency, safety, quality, sustainability, and cost.
  • Lead long-term capacity planning, infrastructure investment, and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as a key contributor to enterprise strategy and innovation readiness.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee U.S. and EU manufacturing, automation, and predictive maintenance.
  • Drive performance across supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
  • Champion sustainability in sourcing, production, and fulfillment.
  • Focus on cost optimization, packaging and line equipment improvements.
  • Ensure max line efficiencies in output and labor / overhead allocation.
  • Adopt and integrate operations-specific systems.
  • Digital & Data Integration

  • Lead ERP, MES, and WMS integration to enable real-time decision-making.
  • Establish performance dashboards and KPI governance across operations.
  • People & Culture

  • Build and lead a high-performing, values-aligned team (~15 total, 3 direct reports).
  • Foster a culture of humility, openness, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop future leaders through coaching, feedback, and structured growth paths.
  • Innovation Enablement

  • Portfolio management of all new product and base business commercialization projects, in partnership with cross functional team.
  • Act as operational gatekeeper in the Stage-Gate process for new product development.
  • Partner with R&D and Commercial teams to ensure scalable, compliant launches, delivering needs for cost, time, and quality.
  • Customer Fulfillment

  • Optimize fulfillment across DTC, Amazon FBA, and retail channels.
  • Ensure OTIF delivery, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer experience
  • What You Bring

  • 15+ years in operations leadership, including 5+ years in senior P&L roles.
  • Experience in automated CPG or specialty chemical environments.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution; thrives in a high-accountability, action-oriented culture where agility, ownership and speed matter.
  • Proven success in scaling multi-site operations and leading through growth.
  • Expertise in Lean / Six Sigma, CGMP, ISO 22716, and digital systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills : empathetic, collaborative, and resilient.
  • Proven track record of having grown a business; having development and implemented the appropriate policies and processes necessary to drive and manage a business; and having infused cross functional teams with a clear and focused drive for measurable performance
  • Demonstrated outstanding business and operational leadership capabilities, including continuous improvement knowledge to improve reliability and agility in a highly dynamic environment

    Location & Travel

    This role is eligible for relocation.

    Headquarters : Greater Seattle Area. ~25% travel to U.S. and EU plants, supplier sites, and partners.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Competitive base ($200-230K), annual performance bonus, equity program, comprehensive health & retirement benefits, and professional-development stipend.
