We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. • Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct repairs on hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Utilize power tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during maintenance operations.
• Repair or replace shocks, struts, and other suspension components to ensure vehicle stability.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed on vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in a shop environment.
• Skills
• Proficient in vehicle maintenance with a strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics.
• Experience with hydraulics and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems effectively.
• Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and mechanical knowledge relevant to diesel mechanics.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely as needed during maintenance tasks.
• Competence in using power tools for various repair tasks.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems related to diesel vehicles is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 – 55 per week
