About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Business Development and Marketing to lead the modernization of its go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate will be a key change-agent, responsible for architecting and executing a multi-year business development roadmap that aligns with the company's corporate objectives. This role involves directing the full capture lifecycle for complex training and simulation programs, overseeing integrated marketing and communication campaigns, and cultivating senior-level relationships to secure strategic positions. The VP will also be tasked with managing and scaling a team of business development and marketing professionals, providing growth forecasts, and making investment recommendations to inform product and R&D roadmaps.

Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in defense business development, with a proven track record of wins exceeding $100M. The role requires a leader with a strong background in securing U.S. DoD and international FMS programs, as well as fluency in federal acquisition regulations and competitive positioning within training and simulation markets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. Mastery of pipeline analytics and CRM governance is essential, as is the ability to bridge engineering, product, and customer-facing teams at the executive level. The position offers an executive seat at the table, with the opportunity to own the global growth strategy and marketing vision, and is backed by strong C-suite sponsorship and an expanded growth budget.
