Job Schedule : M-F, 8am-5pm - Hybrid
hybrid schedule will be determined by direct supervisor.
Job Salary : $60.67 / hr
The PeopleSoft ERP Administrator is responsible for managing ERP environments, including the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of all components across the web, application, integration, and batch tiers.
This role includes performing tools and application (PUM) upgrades, patching, running Change Assistant and compare reports , building and executing DMS, SQL, or Linux shell scripts , code migrations, and performance tuning.
The ERP System Administrator collaborates closely with management, functional / development teams, infrastructure groups, and business units to ensure project objectives are met and performance requirements are maintained.
Strong troubleshooting and research skills are essential to resolve application issues, manage projects, and coordinate with the vendor for potential bug fixes.
Some activities, such as patching, upgrades, production releases, and on-call rotation , may require after-hours execution to ensure system health, minimize downtime, facilitate team communication, and maintain timely resolution of alerts and activities.
Requirements
Role and Responsibilities of the Resource Request
- Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of the PeopleSoft (STARS) environments to ensure application availability and performance.
- Collaborate with functional and development teams to support migrations, configurations, and troubleshooting efforts related to production support, enhancements, or projects.
- Resolve performance, error, or availability issues within the application.
- Coordinate with PS SysAdmin, Oracle DBA, and Server teams to perform necessary patching and system updates.
Scheduled Milestones and Deliverables
Daily :
Perform maintenance and monitoring for both Production and Non-Production PeopleSoft (STARS) environments.Ensure maximum availability, reliability, performance, security, and integrity of Production and DR applications.Conduct regular monitoring and maintenance of ERP applications, job statuses, log files, audit trails, and overall system health.As Needed :
Execute project-related tasks including upgrades, migrations, and implementation of bug fixes.Provide technical support for functional and development team initiatives.Metrics to be Utilized to Measure the Performance of this Resource

PeopleSoft administration — PeopleTools, PeopleSoft PUM / Tools upgrades, Change Assistant, Compare Reports, DMS processing. - ERP environment management — Installation, configuration, patching, release management, and environment promotion (DEV→TEST→PROD). - Scripting — Linux shell scripting and SQL scripting for automation, maintenance, migrations, and troubleshooting. - Code migration and version control — Controlled code deployments, rollback procedures, and familiarity with source control or deployment tooling. - Performance troubleshooting and tuning — App Server, Web Server, Process Scheduler, SQL tuning, and interpreting trace / log files. - Monitoring and operations — Job scheduling monitoring, log analysis, alerting, health checks, and incident response. - Database coordination — Working knowledge of Oracle (tablespaces, backups, listener, basic DBA collaboration). - Integration and middleware — Understanding of integration points, web services, and batch / integration processing. - Automation and CI / CD — Experience with automation tools or pipelines (Ansible, Jenkins, scripting-based CI / CD) preferred. - Change control and ITSM — Familiarity with ticketing and change management processes (ServiceNow or similar).
