About the Role : Vercel is hiring a Head of Technical Marketing, a deeply technical leader who thrives on educating and empowering users. This role isn’t just about showcasing your own expertise; it’s about helping customers and prospects unlock their own potential. Reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll lead a talented team of content creators focused on clear, supportive, and inspiring technical content, including high-quality technical blogs, guides, and tutorials. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and creation of technical content (demos, videos, technical blogs, guides, and webinars) focused on driving awareness and education across Vercel's developer and enterprise audiences.
• Deliver compelling live presentations at webinars, conferences, and field events, becoming a trusted voice in the enterprise community.
• Prototype and produce cutting-edge (“frontier”) technical content, showcasing the full power of Vercel’s platform.
• Ensure Vercel’s technical marketing is approachable, helpful, and empowering, creating a space where everyone feels comfortable asking questions.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Technical Marketing team.
• Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales, focusing on education, clarity, and technical storytelling that drives awareness and adoption.

About You

Benefits

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $224,000 - $336,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location, and the total package includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
