Assembler / Hand Solder II

Job Description

Assemble SMT and TH components on various types of printed circuit boards, using hand-held soldering stations. Rework and install fine pitch components under microscope magnification. Identify component types and polarities. Read and utilize Bill of Materials BOM and Assembly Drawings. Keep area clean and free of all non-essential tools and components. Understand and adhere to ESD ISO procedures. Must be able to solder RoHS and Non-RoHS. Ensure quality of workproduct is maintained to standards. Must be capable of performing solder touch ups. Capable of following process on travelers and providing input for DFM. Other duties and responsibilities not listed above may be added.

Skills Required

HS Diploma or GED. 2+ yrs of manufacturing exp. Exp with the use of hot air rework stations. Ability to use microscope.

Skills Preferred

2+ yrs of exp soldering PCBAs. IPC certified or previous IPC certification.
