Job Description
Position Purpose :
The FP&A Analyst ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, supports monthly closings, and drives budgeting and forecasting activities. He / she analyzes costs by team and category, track actuals vs. budget, and highlight variances. By consolidating data from systems SAP and PeopleSoft, he / she provides a clear financial view. He / she acts as a finance partner, helping business teams planning, controlling, and optimizing their spending.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities :
- Support a robust and efficient monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems.
- Contribute to the consolidation and alignment of SAP S4 and PeopleSoft data to provide a unified financial view.
- Deliver detailed cost analysis by team and by cost type, including labor (FTEs, contractors) and non-labor expenses (consulting, licenses, hardware, etc.).
- Provide clear visibility on incurred expenses to support cost control and informed decision-making.
- Prepare regular financial dashboards and KPIs to support management's understanding of business performance.
- Streamline reporting workflows and contribute to the automation of key finance processes to reduce manual intervention and accelerate report production.
- Identify process gaps and propose improvements based on system capabilities and cross-functional coordination.
- Act as a business advisor by supporting operational teams in managing and optimizing their budgets through insightful financial guidance.
- Support annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes by consolidating inputs and analyzing deviations.
- Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets to identify key trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work with Corporate Finance to reconcile financial data and ensure consistency of reported figures.
- Monitor financial risks and opportunities to proactively alert stakeholders and support decision-making.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or MBA is a plus).2 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance, or management reporting.Strong understanding of accounting principles.Experience with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft).Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI,) is a plus.Prior experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a corporate environment.Familiarity with consolidation processes and reconciliations.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Strong grasp of financial statements and key performance indicators (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling); proficiency with Google Sheets is a plus.Ability to analyze large data sets and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights.Strong business acumen and understanding of operational cost drivers.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attention to detail, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Additional Information
Pay Range : $90000 to $100000 Per Year.
