Job Description / n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of vascular and general ultrasound experience and required credentials for a 16-week assignment.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Work in a hospital ultrasound department

Assignment duration is 16 weeks with 8-hour rotating shifts

General and vascular ultrasound cases are performed

Equipment includes GE Logic E10s and Samsung WS80A units

EPIC EMR experience from within the past 2 years is required

On-call weekend rotation is every 4th to 5th weekend, covering Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day

Floating and charge duties are not required

All candidates must have reliable personal transportation as public transit is not accessible in the area

Vehicles should have all season or snow tires from November through April

Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays

No block scheduling is permitted

Must explain employment gaps over 90 days

First-time travelers are accepted

All work history details must be complete for consideration

Current RVT and ARDMS (AB or OB) credentials

Minimum of 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience including vascular exams

EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required

License required if applicable

Must have flexibility with scheduling
