Practice Setting : Inpatient Oncology Unit

Reason for Coverage : Coverage while we recruit Retirement

Dates of Coverage : ASAP-6 months with opportunity to extend

Call Schedule : overnight telephonic call (rotating)

Call Ratio : approx 1 : 8

Patient Population for Required Coverage : Adult, Geriatric

What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %? :

Hem 60%

Onc 40%

Number of Physicians in Practice : 7

Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes

How Many APPs Provide Coverage : 1 dedicated for inpt coverage : 11 total some round on the weekends

Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call / Rounding) : variable approx 5-20

Clinical Area : Oncology - Inpatient Setting, Hematology - Inpatient Setting

Trauma Level / Designation (Hospital) : level one

Documentation System / EMR : Epic

Administration of Chemotherapy : Nurse oncologist

Facility reimburse for the following costs : Provider Must be local - only mileage is reimbursed

Chemotherapy - Intrathecal

Participation on a Tumor Board
