Job Details

  • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours available.
  • Will consider 1 year experience with travel experience.
  • Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult).
  • Titers must be within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
  • Will allow Monday or Tuesday starts.

    • Job Requirements

  • Must have Iowa SING background check cleared (Criminal and Child Abuse portions required) - no exceptions.
  • All background checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start - no instant or statewide searches accepted.
  • Drug test must be 10 panel screening including opiates.
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
  • 1-2 years of experience required.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 7p-7a.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Weekend hours : every other weekend.
  • No call requirements.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D).
  • Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns.
  • Float within hospital to other units as needed.
  • Patient ratios : active labor 1 : 1, Couplet Care : 3 : 1.
  • Equipment includes intermediate fetal monitoring and Philips Tracevue.
