• Amped Electric, Inc. – Fairbanks, Alaska (Remote Considered)

Amped Electric, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. We specialize in commercial, institutional, and government projects, including extensive work on nearby military bases.

This is a key role focused on preparing accurate and competitive estimates to help us win and execute projects successfully.

• What You Will Do
• Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for electrical projects, including detailed takeoffs, labor, and material pricing
• Monitor bid sites and identify opportunities appropriate for the business
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Maintain organized estimating records and historical cost data
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the estimating process
• What You Will Need to Be Successful
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field OR at least seven years of experience as a journeyman electrician with demonstrated estimating experience
• Proven success estimating electrical construction projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, codes, and specifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple bids under tight deadlines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Must be eligible for base access and able to pass background checks required for government projects
• Willingness to travel to sites as needed
• Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range : $75,000 – $95,000 annually DOE
