Job Title : Senior Accountant

Location : Charlotte, NC

Industry : Non-Profit

Pay : $80,000 $90,000 / year (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee daily accounting activities, including A / P, A / R, and credit card reconciliation across multiple entities
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Monitor intercompany transactions and track "due to / due from" balances
• Collaborate on the annual external audit by providing necessary documentation and support
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and monthly reporting to internal stakeholders
• Manage and track grants and prepare financial summaries as needed
• Assist with filing of IRS Form 990s and other compliance-related reporting
• Oversee business insurance processes, including renewals and audits
• Contribute to payroll processing and HR-related financial duties in collaboration with the Controller
• Foster strong internal communication and encourage collaboration across departments for timely submissions and reporting
