We’re seeking a motivated Buyer I to support our client’s procurement operations in Beaverton, Oregon. In this entry-level professional role, you’ll be responsible for negotiating favorable terms, securing volume discounts, and managing long-term supplier contracts. You will also prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, services, and supplies essential to customer-focused business processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual looking to develop a strong foundation in procurement and supply chain management.
Contract : 5 months
Location : Hybrid Model with Fridays remote.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing, terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Prepare, process, and monitor requisitions and purchase orders.
Support business units in sourcing goods and services that meet operational needs.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure procurement aligns with company policies and goals.
Assist with process improvement initiatives within the procurement department.

Requirements Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems preferred.
Experience : Previous internship or experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing is a plus.
