• Work in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU on the 6th floor
• Patient ratios range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4 depending on patient acuity
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Day shift includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 RTs, and tech support
• Night shift includes 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, and 2 RTs
• Must have 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
• NRP certification required
• Stable and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Navy blue scrubs required
• May float to Peds, PICU, and Mother Baby units (babies only)
• Work with Cerner EMR system
• Care for critically ill newborns and infants requiring intensive monitoring and specialized treatment Facility : This is an 815-bed acute care facility serving as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina.
