We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Parsippany, New Jersey. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with established standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to manage month-end processes and audits effectively.

Responsibilities :

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.

Oversee the preparation and review of journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Coordinate and support financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies throughout all financial activities.

Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Maintain detailed records and reports related to general ledger activities.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Train and guide team members on accounting policies and procedures as needed.

Address and resolve any issues related to accounting operations or reporting.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounting management or a similar role.

Proficiency in handling month-end close processes and general ledger activities.

Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation procedures.

Ability to prepare and review journal entries with accuracy and efficiency.

Familiarity with accounting principles and compliance standards.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors.
