2nd Shift Controls Technician - Allen-Bradley

Qualifications

Completion of a

2-year degree or technical certificate program

required.

3–5 years of manufacturing experience

with strong technical knowledge in automation.

Hands-on expertise with

robotics, PLCs, scanners, and cameras

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all safety requirements and company policies (IATF 16949, ISO 14001).

Test, troubleshoot, and implement new processes, automation systems, and robotics.

Install retrofits, diagnose and repair hardware, software, and instrumentation issues.

Support start-up activities and ongoing automation process improvements.

Create and maintain automation processes, testing procedures, and compliance reports.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, robots, scanners, and cameras.

Provide 24 / 7 support availability as required.

Work within a team and support overtime as needed.

Working Conditions

Physical ability to lift up to

50 lbs.

Ability to stand for up to

12 hours per shift

with frequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.

Must wear required PPE in a manufacturing environment.
