Title :   Multi-Modality Imaging Tech

Location :   Oak Creek, WI

Contract : 13 weeks

Schedule : Nights, 7 / 70 schedule (8 : 30pm - 6 : 30am, Mon - Sun, following week off)

Requirements : 2+ years experience | BLS | ARRT (M) -Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is required within 12 months of hire. -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Job Summary : -At the direction of a radiologist and / or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. -Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. -Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. -Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. -Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. -Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification : Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography. -Other duties as assigned. Required Skills & Experience : -N / A Preferred Skills & Experience : -One year of current clinical experience in each modality. Required Education : -Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program. Preferred Education : -An additional 1-2 years of college / university coursework and / or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field. Required Certifications & Licensure : -ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer. -Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire / transfer. -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. Preferred Certifications & Licensure : -N / A
