Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Arroyo Grande, CA

Setting : Acute Care Hospital

Shift Details :

  • Schedule : 3x12-hour shifts
  • Shift : Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend
  • Holiday Rotation : Rotated with core staff
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week
  • Floating : May float to Tele, Marian ICU, or ER (orientation provided prior to floating)

    • Unit Information :

  • Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Beds : 8
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 – 1 : 2
  • Charting System : Cerner
  • Telemetry System : Phillips
  • Common Diagnoses : Sepsis, CHF, respiratory failure, alcohol withdrawal, and general medical ICU cases
  • Drips / Vents : Yes
  • Charge Nurse : Days – dedicated charge (no patient load); Nights – shift leader present

    • Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience (travel experience preferred)
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
  • License : Active California RN license (state-specific or compact)
  • Education : ADN or higher (BSN not needed).
