Job description

Are you highly organized, people-focused, and eager to make an impact on a growing team? Our client is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves bringing order to chaos, and enjoys being at the heart of hiring operations. This role will support the team's coordination and collaboration efforts as they attract, hire, and onboard new hires.

Compensation : $21 / hr

Availability : Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. This is set to be a 4-6 month contract that can be extended based on business needs.

Anticipated Start Date : Monday, December 22nd

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Prepare new hire paperwork, help with setup and equipment, and create a welcoming experience for new employees.
  • Track recruiting activity, update candidate records, and manage HR data with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Use Canva to design flyers, internal communications, and event materials that keep the team informed and engaged.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leads to align on priorities and maintain strong communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, maintain candidate communication, and ensure every step of the hiring process runs smoothly.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve candidate and employee experiences.
  • Provide general HR and administrative support and cross-train with the HR team to lend a hand where needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 months to 1 year in an administrative, recruiting, or HR support role (internships count!).
  • Proficiency with data entry and office tools; Canva experience a plus (or a willingness to learn quickly).
  • A sharp eye for detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Self-starter with a “no task too small” attitude, excellent follow-through, and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
  • Excellent communicator with a friendly, professional approach — comfortable working with everyone from candidates to executives.
