Job descriptionVerify exam orders as requested by the physician. Develop knowledge of proper scan protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients. Follow radiation safety guidelines, including patient shielding and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles. Learn to administer IV and oral contrast materials properly. Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining procedures clearly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Gain familiarity with evolving CT technologies and their applications. Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and request service when needed. Comply with all Joint Commission (TJC), state, federal, and local regulations and protocols. Perform other related duties as assigned. Associate’s degree (or equivalent) from a two-year college, technical school, or nursing diploma program. No prior experience required (training provided). One of the following certifications : ARRT (R)(N)(CT) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologic Technologist License – Arkansas Department of Health

- Monday through Friday, 1 : 30 p.m. – 10 : 00 p.m.

The CT Technologist I performs quality CT examinations in a safe and timely manner while developing advanced imaging knowledge and providing excellent patient care.
