Clinical Infrastructure Planner

Job Title

The mission of the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research, and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees, and the public.

Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Space Activation and Transition, the primary purpose of this position is to provide coordination activities as they relate to activation planning activities that support both capital and non-capital projects, equipment planning coordination and roll out in clinical spaces. This position will also facilitate the deactivation of existing spaces and move management partnership with facilities. Activation and deactivation efforts include :

• Coordination with project team
• Facilitation of medical equipment installation and support
• Equipment planning coordination
• Move management procurement
• Vendor installation coordination
• Coordinating inventory management
• Scheduling and move coordination
• Transitioning space after construction to operations
• Budgeting and contract management
• Site decommissioning
• Related project communications

Job Specific Competencies :

Salary range : min $92,500 - mid $115,500 - max $138,500

Education : Required : Bachelor's degree. Preferred : Master's degree.

Experience : Required : Five years healthcare planning, activation or transition experience or related experience to include two years project / program management. May substitute required experience with additional years of education on a one-to-one year basis. Preferred : Three years of project management in a health care environment.
