Pay Rate : $17.39 per hour

SCHEDULE :

Monday through Friday : 2 : 00pm - 7 : 00pm

Occasional days, evenings and weekends

JOB DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the B.L.O.C.K. Youth and Teen Center, teen participants, and at-risk populations and staff.

EXAMPLES OF WORK : (Note : These examples are intended merely as illustrations of the various types of work performed.)

• Responsible for operating Township vehicles and the safe transportation of program participants to assigned locations.
• Presents a professional image, in person and by telephone.
• Responsible for detection and reporting of property and equipment defects.
• Ensures safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures are followed by the public and employees.
• Responsible for the enforcement of departmental rules and regulations, operating procedures, and policies.
• Maintains accurate program, activity, and equipment records.
• Provides information for monthly and annual reports as applicable.
• Responsible for responding to, communicating and documenting emergency situations and incidents, including, but not limited to, First Aid, CPR, severe weather and missing child events.
• Responsible for efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the BLOCK Youth and Teen Center.
• Assist in the planning, supervision, and coordination of teen programs, participants, and activities as assigned.
• Assists in the coordination of setup, teardown, and clean up of programs and events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
