Position : Guest Experience Intern

Department : Operations

Location : LakePoint Sports, Greater Atlanta

Job Type : Hourly Paid Internship

Reports To : Event Manager

Position Summary and Attributes :

The Guest Experience Intern will support the operations team in delivering a world-class experience for athletes, coaches, and families at LakePoint Sports. This role focuses on ensuring that guests receive exceptional service, enjoy a safe and welcoming environment, and leave with a positive impression of the facility. The intern will gain hands-on experience in customer service, event planning, event operations, and facility management within a fast-paced sports environment.

Basic Qualifications and Experiences :

• Must be able to work weekdays, weekends , and holidays as needed.
• Currently on track to receiving a Bachelor’s degree in sports management, parks and recreation, or a closely related field.
• Interest in business management, sports management, or a closely related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to work Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with large crowds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Work Environment :

Required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.

Work Hours :

Regular attendance is a necessary job function required for this position. Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include long and odd hours as necessary. Schedule will be given to the intern by their supervisor and working hours may vary depending on the season, program, or event. Early mornings, late evenings, over-night shifts, holidays, and weekends are needed to complete this position.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand for long periods of time; talk, hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle and operate equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
