Pediatrics Physician

Sovah Health is seeking a BC / BE pediatrician to join an established, busy pediatric practice located in Danville, Virginia.

This is a hospital-employed position in a practice which provides the full spectrum of care to the families it serves, including outpatient clinic, inpatient pediatrics, newborn nursery, and delivery care. This practice has dedicated, enthusiastic staff and a 24 / 7 nurse triage service which assists with call.

• Providing Pediatric care in the community for over 30 years
• Combined 97 years of service among the 2 Pediatricians and 2 Pediatric Nurse Practitioners
• 18,000+ patient visits in 2023
• Averaging 70 births per month
• Patient Triage
• Dedicated nurse for patient triage during clinic hours to answer parent questions and schedule urgent needs same-day
• After-hours pediatric nurse triage service improves patient satisfaction and reduces on-call burden
• Lactation Consultant in the clinic to provide breastfeeding support
