The Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Coordinator - Manufacturing is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at the manufacturing facility. Job Description

The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following :

• Oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (EPA, OSHA, DOT).
• Maintain accurate records of waste generation, manifests, and disposal activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of hazardous waste storage areas and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with certified vendors for waste transportation and disposal.
• Develop, schedule, and deliver safety training sessions for employees, including new hire orientation and annual refresher courses.
• Ensure training content meets OSHA standards and company policies.
• Track and maintain training records in the EHS management system.
• Promote a culture of safety through toolbox talks, signage, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for workplace injury reporting and investigation.
• Coordinate with HR and insurance providers to manage workers' compensation claims.
• Monitor return-to-work programs and ensure compliance with medical restrictions.
• Analyze injury trends and recommend preventive measures to reduce incidents.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 0-4+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct training and engage employees at all levels.
