Job descriptionNICU Level : II Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.) : 100 Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly) : 10 Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly) : MFM onsite? Yes, but limited Residency Program & Type? No In-house Anesthesia? Yes, but on call at night Other notes : St. Mary s is part of Trinity Health System of New England. This hospital wants its OB Department to be state-of-the-art, providing greater patient safety, higher quality of care and back-up to the staff physicians.

- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage : Yes
- Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions : Occasionally
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist : Yes
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists : Yes Staffphysicians
- Hospitalists to Backup Midwives : Yes
- Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice : Yes
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists : Yes, staff physicians
