Our providers are affiliated with multiple healthcare facilities including McLaren Greater Lansing, Bronson in Battle Creek, Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek and Grand Rapids, and Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant located in Battle Creek, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating infections, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers. The role also includes educating patients on health management, maintaining accurate patient records, and participating in the overall patient care process.

Qualifications

  • Experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Skills in prescribing medications and developing treatment plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with healthcare providers
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ability to educate patients on health management and preventive measures
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Michigan is required
  • Experience in infectious diseases or related specialty is a plus
  • CPR / BLS certification is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
