District General Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced District General Manager to lead operations for one of our most significant enterprise clients in the Central Valley region. This high-impact role oversees 30+ locations and $20M in annual business, driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and financial performance. You will serve as the senior leader and trusted partner to the client, setting the tone for a high-performing, client-focused culture.
Success in this role will be measured by :
- Sustained delivery on service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Strong client partnership and retention
- Achievement of district-level P&L goals and margin improvement initiatives
- Engagement, development, and retention of a high-performing management team
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership across all client sites in the Central Valley, balancing day-to-day operations with long-term business planningBuild and maintain strong client partnerships by serving as the primary point of contact, understanding evolving expectations, and proactively addressing concernsDrive accountability for service delivery standards (SLA adherence, product availability, equipment uptime, response times) and ensure transparent reportingOwn financial performance for the district, including P&L oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and margin improvement initiativesLead, coach, and develop a cross-functional management team, building bench strength and ensuring succession planning across all levelsPartner with senior leadership to communicate progress, risks, and opportunities, while aligning to the overall business strategyChampion safety, compliance, and quality standards across all sites; conduct audits and implement corrective actions when neededCollaborate with internal corporate teams (supply chain, finance, HR, technology) to deliver seamless solutions that meet client needsRepresent the company in all client-facing meetings, business reviews, and engagement events as the trusted partner and ambassador for the districtDrive a culture of continuous improvement through operational efficiency, innovation, and employee engagementQualifications
Required
Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-unit operations in foodservice, retail, logistics, or related industriesDemonstrated success managing complex client relationships with high service expectationsStrong financial acumen with a track record of achieving P&L results and driving growthSkilled communicator with exceptional influencing, presentation, and relationship-building capabilitiesExperience developing and leading large teams with a focus on coaching, accountability, and performance managementAbility to think strategically while executing tactically in a high-volume, fast-moving environmentPreferred
Industry background in enterprise foodservice or facilities managementFamiliarity with operational technology and reporting toolsAdvanced certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management)Bilingual proficiency (Spanish / English) is a plusPosition Details
