Supply Technician

GovCIO is currently hiring a Supply Technician to provide logistical support to the Navy's Fleet Submarine Very Low and Low-Frequency Broadcast Engineering Support team. This position will be located in Charleston, SC and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Duties include :

• Receiving : Employee will physically facilitate the receipt of material delivered by parcel or freight transport into the building. This may include using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand carrying boxes. Employee will follow the Receiving Workflow Process and update computer systems to reflect receipts.
• Inventory Management : Employee will be able to track and maintain accurate Project inventory levels, including Receipt, Cycle Counting, Kitting, Storing, Calibration, Shelf Life, and Shipping material.
• Procurement Support : Employee will be expected to produce Project Inventory reports and support the Procurement team with on hand inventory data as well as be able to independently procure material when requested.
• Shipping : Employee will provide support to the shipping leads by way of physically and effectively packing material to ensure customer satisfaction by following best practices and the Shipping Workflow.
• Collaboration : Work closely with vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Compliance : Adhere to corporate health and safety regulations in the work environment, ensuring a safe working space for all employees.
