About The Position

General job duties. Types of procedures required.

Pre / post op patients for procedures. Asses patients, perform moderate sedation, real time chartin, monitoring patients,

proecedures we do - biopies, line placement, angiograms

2. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

Meditech, Pyxis

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.

2 years critical care; one year IT RN

4. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

ACLS, BLS

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends

required?)

4-10 hour shift with call; 7-9 days of call a month which includes a weekend

6. Floating to other units / departments. (If so, to which units / departments?)

7. Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept.

7 pre / post beds

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)
