Job Overview :

We are seeking a Union Journeyman Tree Trimmer to play a vital role in safely maintaining vegetation around utility lines and other designated areas. This position requires a skilled individual capable of independently performing all climbing duties and operating various equipment to ensure safe and efficient tree trimming. Journeyman Tree Trimmers must be proficient in tree climbing, rigging, and roping techniques while adhering to ArborWorks’ safety standards and procedures.

Job Location : West Sacramento, CA

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform essential vegetation management tasks, including :

Trimming, removing, bucking, and limbing trees using chainsaws and proper cutting techniques.

Performing pre-climb inspections and ascending trees using approved methods.

Assisting climbers or bucket operators from the ground and acting as a spotter to ensure crew and public safety.
