Facility Overview

At Ocean View Psychiatric Health Facility, we are committed to serving as a community resource, providing the highest quality of mental health services. Currently, Ocean View operates as an adult 79-bed voluntary acute inpatient facility, offering private rooms and individualized care through a multi-disciplinary approach focusing on compassionate care and best practices. We also provide Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services to ensure a continuum of care after acute stabilization. We are currently in the process of expanding our Long Beach facility to 80 beds, offering a locked facility setting for those who meet intensive mental health criteria. Additionally, our expansion plans to other areas are progressing rapidly, and we anticipate that our Colton location in San Bernadino County, will be operational by mid-2025.

Housekeeper Position Overview

Pay : $21 / Hour

Ocean View Environmental Services Custodians staff play crucial roles on our team. ESCs perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean, orderly, sanitary, and attractive condition. Staff ensure a safe and clean environment according to OSHA standards. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, buffs, strips, waxes, shampoos, and cleans floor surfaces. Cleans and dusts furniture, closets, telephones, vents and scour, polish and sanitize sinks, counters, stainless surfaces and waste receptacles. Empties waste receptacles; cleans solid waste containers. Washes windows and walls may remove draperies, rugs, and other bulky items. Moves and arranges furniture as needed for cleaning or presentation purposes. Reports defective furniture and equipment needed for repairs to the Supervisor. Maintains essential equipment and utility closet in a clean and orderly manner. Perform tasks using appropriate infection control techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
