CNC Programmer / Applications Engineer

We’re seeking a CNC Programmer with strong engineering knowledge to support advanced manufacturing operations. This role blends CAD / CAM programming with hands-on machining to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure precision on both new and legacy parts.

What You’ll Do

Program multi-axis parts (Mill-Turn or 5-Axis milling preferred) using CAD / CAM software and simulation tools.

Develop and optimize machining processes for new product launches and existing production.

Design and refine work holding and fixtures for efficiency and accuracy.

Provide manufacturability input during quoting and customer interactions.

Support CNC set-up, prove-outs, and troubleshooting on the shop floor.

Partner with engineering and production teams to solve challenges and improve workflow.

Drive continuous improvement projects focused on quality, speed, and cost reduction.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of CNC programming experience with CAD / CAM tools and strong machining knowledge.

Solid understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement.

Ability to troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize cutting strategies.

Detail-oriented, innovative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
