Senior Manager, Regional Public Affairs

As the Senior Manager, Regional Public Affairs, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our impact at the state and local level in the U.S., working alongside a passionate Public Affairs team to drive meaningful change through strategic stakeholder engagement. You'll take the lead in managing research, organizing high-impact events, tracking legislative developments, and crafting compelling messages that advance our priorities. In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate across PACS (Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability) functions, partner with Coca-Cola bottlers, and engage with influential industry associations. You'll be a trusted, agile resource on policy and stakeholder projectsconfidently representing the organization to external stakeholderswhile fueling your passion for policymaking and staying ahead of emerging issues. Focus, Scope, & Impact :

  • Work as part of a team responsible for state and local public affairs, political / stakeholder engagement and execution of strategic communications initiatives.
  • Support the team's stakeholder engagement with research, event management and communication including message and collateral development as necessary in coordination with teams across Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability (PACS) and throughout the company. Ensure management of digital legislative tracking systems and assist with internal policy reporting, processes and analysis.
  • Manage integrated team project plans to help team prepare, meet deadlines, keep team members informed and coordinate with other PACS teams, bottlers or industry associations.
  • Serve as an agile resource within the team with the ability to be deployed on specific policy, stakeholder engagement or communications projects. Is comfortable and competent in interacting with external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a passion for policymaking and the political process. Committed to continuous learning and keeps current on public policy topics such as sustainability and food regulation within state and local government.
  • A detailed and results oriented self-starter who is performance-driven and has a thirst for collaboration.

Key Success Parameters :

Experience :

At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in government affairs, including legislation, policy development, and / or political and issue campaigns, as well as communications and stakeholder management.

Work Focus :

Ability to support stakeholder engagement and Public Affairs initiatives with efficient, insightful and detailed project management. Ability to quickly process information and develop supporting communication. Interested in the day-to-day tangible actions that support strategy and effective stakeholder engagement internally and externally.

Communication Focus :

The role will support or directly communicate on a regular basis with key internal and / or external parties and has the responsibility for sharing information and ensuring swift collaboration with key parties and stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must and demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information.

    Pay Range : $134,900 - $158,800

    Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.

    Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage : 15

    Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
