About the Role :

We're looking for an Assistant Engineer for Highway or Traffic Engineering to join our growing Transportation Division in Freeport, ME . Key Responsibilities :

  • Working with a team of professionals in developing designs for public transportation projects
  • Creating and updating specifications and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal Projects
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT preferred.
  • 0-5 years of Civil Infrastructure Design and / or construction administration experience.
  • Project experience with New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, or Maine DOT's preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley OpenRoads Designer preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Synchro and SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, or VISSIM a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team.
